Under its policy of openness and transparency, Orano Group publishes extensive information on its activities and facilities, particularly in the economic, environmental, social and societal fields.
Concurrent to this proactive approach, each operator
of a Group Basic Nuclear Facility (BNF) produces, in accordance with Article L. 125-15 of the Environmental Code, an annual report on the measures instituted to ensure nuclear safety and radiation protection. These widely circulated reports are also
an opportunity to present the activities carried out each site in all their magnitude.
These reports published since 2007 can be downloaded from the site.
Lastly, any request made by an external stakeholder under Article* L. 125-10 of the
Environmental Code must be addressed to the Communications Department of the Orano la Hague website.
* Requests concerning risks related to exposure to ionising radiation that may result from this activity and the safety and radiation protection measures taken to prevent or reduce these risks or exposures.
This document presents a progress report on each of the waste recovery and conditioning (RCD) projects underway at the Orano la Hague site, with the aim of informing the public, in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Authority's decision No. 2014-DC-0472 of 9 December 2014. This report is transmitted in parallel to the Local Information Commission.
