Orano TN is seeking a Business Development Professional to support the Nuclear Material Transportation and Logistics Product Line. The Business Development Professional will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Develop strategy for front end packages and transportation, including assessing make/buy decisions and identifying associated opportunities in the market.
  • Ability to assess what to offer, how the offering should be designed, and determine market pricing. Monitor, research, and analyze competitive landscapes to create competitive advantages.
  • Understanding of the market to develop new strategies and solutions in line with customer and market needs.
  • Develop and grow client relationships. Assess necessity to team with industry partners.
  • Ability to collaborate and work across internal functions within Orano to create successful strategies and bids.
  • Lead proposal strategy and win theme development; oversee proposal preparation and submittal, ensuring bids are compliant with customer requirements.
  • Monitor post-award performance to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure successful transition to project teams upon contract award.

Ideal qualifications

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this   opportunity.  Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.

  • A Proven track record of business development in the nuclear industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite. Ability to develop excel worksheets and costing files.
  • Comfortable presenting to Executives both internally and externally.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Day to day hazmat transportation operation experience.
  • Emergency Response Planning.
  • Development of transport and security plans.
  • Familiarity with the nuclear fuel cycle.
  • Knowledge of government or corporate contracting regulations a plus.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The Preferred Candidate will have both relevant commercial nuclear and government (DOE) experience.
  • Understanding and practice of DOE rad waste streams.
  • Experience with 10CFR Part 71, 49 CFR 172, IMDG, IATA, and regulatory review - Monitor changes to NRC, DOT, IAEA and other international rulemaking changes.

 

Please Note: The provided salary information is a guideline. Your offered salary is based upon experience, qualifications, geographic location, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary range annually: $140-$170K
