TN Americas is seeking a Regional Manager I-II. This position is responsible for attaining closed-order income objectives through the development and maintenance of customer relationships and customer in support of the TN Americas Waste Business Line.

Manages the strategic and business development activities for products, clients and/or services for the Waste Business Line. Defines and develops new product opportunities to meet customer needs and makes sales presentations to generate new business. Prepares business strategy proposals to senior management for market opportunities based on
market trends and forecasting.

Additional job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Serves as the primary interface for products, services and clients for the waste business line.
  • Proposes product applications and solutions so that product and service deliveries meet customer requirements.
  • Makes recommendations for the marketing strategy.
  • Makes sales presentations to customers and negotiates contract scope and conditions.
  • Performs opportunity identification, tracking and proposal process and recommends process changes.
  • Delegates and monitors major projects to help others improve their contribution to the company’s business objectives.
  • Develops economic scenarios to help top management challenge and validate key business decisions.
  • Shares information so that all business players evelop a level of competencies and performances in line with customer requirements
  • Manages estimates and facilitates contract amendments so that each deal meets the targeted level of profit margin.

Qualifications (external)

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position:

  • BS in Engineering, Science, or Business or comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus 7-10 years of related work experience. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current marketing and social media applications
  • Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.

  • Strong ability to maintain a calm and focused persona under pressure, resolve and diffuse sensitive situations, maintain professional and positive interactions.
  • Self-driven, self-starter who is able to take the initiative to accomplish results with minimal supervision as well as able to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
  •  Experience with nuclear waste management packaging and transportation.
