TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano, is seeking a Transportation Specialist to support the shipping / receiving process performed as part of UF6 Service Center (UCSC) in Kevil, KY.
The ideal candidate will have experience serving in full-charge shipping and receiving role, responsible for data entry and for inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Transportation Specialist position requires a focus on the quality and accuracy of detailed information keyed into multiple databases, a drive to learn and master assigned responsibilities, and a desire to streamline and facilitate smooth processes in the Transportation department.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, develop, and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Ensure shipping compliance with 10CFR and 49CFR requirements
Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments
Enter all items into database using computer and tablet, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all information
Prepare Shipping Papers
Coordinate with other departments as needed

The candidate’s primary role will be INVENTORY CONTROL of a wide range of parts to support all field work performed by Orano loading services including ordering, stocking, and shipping parts and equipment. **Hands-on Inventory and Warehouse experience is a MUST for this position.**
The ideal candidate will have experience with parts inventory control and logistical planning along with a strong understanding of basic equipment/automotive mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Supervisory, welding & fuel loading experience is desired but not required. Rigging qualifications are a plus.
